Located in Baku, the capital of the Azerbaijani Republic, the liyev cultural center is another masterpiece of Zaza Hadid. It has become a new landmark of the local city since its completion.

Baku is an ancient city with a long history and a famous city on the ancient Silk Road. However, the relevant government said that they did not expect to organically link the city with the past by imitating or restoring the history, but to reinterpret the current significance of history in the city through a very modern architectural design.

Gaidar Aliyev cultural center is a streamline integrated planning of architecture and square, which becomes an inseparable part of urban texture, and redefines the sequence of public space and Festival gathering space.
The well-designed undulations, bifurcations, folds, and shapes make the square open and embrace the city.
Architecture also obscures the differentiation between traditional architecture and the city, between the square and the ground. The inspiration for overall mobility is not only new, but also from local traditions.

Islam has a long history of architecture, calligraphy, ceiling, murals, decoration, art patterns seamless connection, the overall unity has given design inspiration. On the basis of understanding the history and tradition, architects never imitate and use the intention, insist on playing at a high level, and respond to the site and various conditions in a modern way. For the slope section on the site, a beautiful terrace square is used to turn the bad into the best, avoiding additional excavation or landfill, and establishing the relationship between the building and the underground parking lot.

When I first saw its beautiful picture, I was shocked!
It stands like an elf in the center of the square. It makes you feel as if you are in a world of ice and snow. It will make you forget all the troubles in the world.
